Michelle Clay, Assistant Principal

Michelle Clay graduated from Auburn University in 2009 with a Bachelors in Communications, earned her Master’s degree from Auburn University in Secondary English Language Arts in 2019, and her Instructional Leadership Certificate from University of West Alabama in 2023. For the past five years she has been teaching secondary English and has been the head coach for volleyball, tennis, and cheer. She is excited to transition into the role of assistant principal at DAR Middle School. She has been married to her husband, Michael, for 13 years and they have two children, Casen (12) and Kolbie (10). Mrs. Clay is a native of Marshall County and is excited to be able to move her family back to Marshall County!
